Those Barium drinks really get you on the way down.

I feel for you hilltopper. I got to experience the joys of appendicitis....on my 21st birthday. Thought it was the alcohol. Went in to get my stomach pumped, but they luckily checked to make sure it wasn't appendicitis first.

Glad to hear you are doing alright

Hate Barium. Had a colonoscopy for Chrones Disease 2 years ago. Not looking forward to my second one next summer.

Just waiting on Ners to bring this thread to Derrick Wilson and then someone to mention Nazis for the cherry topper.

Is it possible that Topper's digestive tract issue was brought on by having to digest the coaching of Buzz Williams last year and the play of Derrick Wilson as the leading minute getter on the team.  How's that for an effort?   ;D

Kidding aside, glad to know Hilltopper came through it well.

Not familiar. If it's anything like Crohn's, best of luck. Sounds awful.

ZFB is getting excited because he's almost to the age where it appears normal to request a colonoscopy.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Whoa, whoa whoa people.  This thread isn't about gall bladders or girlfriends or diets or goddamn avocados!  It's about me, and how sad you'd be if I'd have been smothered by a nurse or something.

Get with the program!

Sorry Topper, it WAS about you until Chico made it about him. What new? Glad you're feeling better and that appendicitis hasn't affected your sense of humor. Keep getting better.

Whoa whoa whoa.  Topper took time off without approval?  This is going in your permanent MUScoop record.

Glad you came out OK, because I don't know if you've fully prepped Topper Jr. for the moderation responsibilities that you've left him in your will.  (Does he even know where the "ban" button is yet???)

Has your diet changed as a result of no gall bladder, Chicos?

Not really, though certain foods definitely attack the system more than others.  I had a gall bladder attack on a business trip about 13 years ago and I was young, in shape (low body fat, etc), barely in my 30's...rushed to a hospital in Denver and they yanked it out.  Pretty rare.

Certain foods definitely impact me more than others, especially spicy or fried foods, so I don't eat a ton of that, but I haven't given up anything if that's what you are asking.  More moderation than anything else.

It was a joke....if I recall, I started this thread and it was all about him, you seemed to miss that part.

Get well KB.

Colonscopy? Psh. DREs are where it's at. More pleasure for provider and patient.

Firstly, the hospital did have decent wi-fi, and I walked in with my phone at 100%.

But yes, indeed, power did transfer briefly under the 25th amendment to my designee (Ziggy) while I was under anesthetic.

Speaking of that, holy crap.  They told me all about how I'd hop from one table to another, and count backwards from 100, but I don't even recall being moved into the op room.  Quite a memory gap.

Yeah, I'd like to know how it affected your diet as well.

Chicos is not allowed to eat crow since the operation

Sounds like a flashback to when the 'lanche was open.

Now that he's gone we can have that MUScoop get together, considering it never happened because no one wanted to have to talk to Hilltopper there.
