Please people look at what your saying.  When Buzz was at MU he was doing all these charities, being humble etc. and these same posters gave him credit for it.  Then when he leaves he was a phony and it was all schtick and an act?  If Buzz was anything he was remarkable consistant in his approach and "mantra" , so now you people are saying for 24 hours a day,  7 days a week for 6 years everything he was doing was a schtick and phony?

I dont think you posters that feel that way are really that dumb.  You are suffering from jilted lovers complex and are in no way speaking reasonably.  Please Buzz is who he is, the only thing that has changed is his employer.

Getting Betta, Betta all the time

 Pat Travers

Pretty sure that's Beatles song, but anyways Pat Travers was my first concert. He's one of my best friend's mom's cousin so we went in 7th grade when he opened for Nazareth.

Normally when people ask I say John Mellencamp was my first show cuz people have no idea who Pat Travers is.

You posting that line is the ultimate irony.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Hall and freakin' Oates? C'mon, Doc. Just one of many covers. The original (and the mega hit) was by the Righteous Brothers in the mid 60s. Think Phil Spector wrote and produced it, one of the biggest hits of all time.

I saw that too, Bernstein, but I think Painless was referencing Bert's stated love for the Legendary Hall & Oates

I think everytime Buzz had things going right he unintentionally found a way to self-destruct. For example winning at West Virginia with several players suspended for a half should of been a great accomplishment. This accomplishment was quickly overshadowed by him doing the two step on West Virginia's floor.

For a guy who answered every question at his hiring press conference with "it's about the guys" he sure seemed to like the attention/spotlight on him. The two step, the butcher & baker candle stick BS after advancing to the sweet 16, the calling out the NCAA for not being allowed to eat a burger after advacing to the sweet 16, the flirting with every job opening, etc. I was at that opening press conference and it was the most confusing 45 minutes ever. "It's about the guys" my ass.
