It's not that 10 guys isn't enough, but I wouldn't be shocked if they could get someone to come in who could actually beat out a few of the 10 we already have for minutes.  You would like to have a better team right?  12 competing for 10 spots (decent playing time), is better then 10 competing for 10 spots, right?  If someone is not happy it's cause they are getting beat which is part of the deal

The Georgia Rivals writer just posted this on Twitter re: JaKeenan Gant...

"JaKeenan Gant's AAU coach Michael Stokes tells me if Mizzou were to release him, he would probably go to Indiana or Louisville."

I do not think we get any JC or high school recruits. Possibly a transfer or two, but I suspect we will be going forward with what we have.

They're smart enough to run from Kelvin Sampson so yes, bring 'em aboard!

I know everyone is just making light of it but you all should know that Dylan is graduating in May and moving on with his life.  Chick and I spent a significant amount of time with his family at the awards dinner.  Very nice people.  Dylan is a fine young man.

I agree, make those 10 happy next year, add one big if you can find somebody who can play.  I always feel that the 12th and 13th man on a team never are two happy.  It happened last year with to many players. Particularly playing the wrong players.

We have nine until the semester ends when Luke becomes eligible.  As noted above, Flood is graduating.

Again, the nine are fine if you can guarantee no one gets hurt, no one plays poorly (below expectations) and no one misses games early because of the flu/illness/family emergency/etc.

A streak of bad luck early in the season and the bench will look like the West Virginia game from a few years ago.

Added ...

If Steve Taylor gets hurt/sick, who plays the 5 until Luke is eligible?  Juan?  We are desperate for a big body or two.

Which is why I think it is foolhardy to have expectations for an NCAA tourney bid next year.   New coach, new system, no size early, lack of bodies.....   If Wojo is able to work some magic and get a couple of more decent players with a little size for next year, my tune will change.
