What did he do the entire season that warranted being shown in a highlight reel?

Leave?

In all fairness he was there for the end of the year party for the cheerleaders.  My roommate was on the squad.

Wasn't the Deanster around 50 when he was coaching at Marquette? What 20 yo Chiquita wants to blow that old trumpet?

I will post the entire list of award winners when I get to a keyboard, but I will tell you now that the one that caused the most buzzwas the academic award. It was awarded to Deonte Burton.

Chick, you couldn't have come up with a better word to describe what people were talking about??

By golly I do believe that five minute highlight reel did not have a single frame of Buzz in it.
There were 5 minutes of highlights?

And more importantly, ask if he's keeping Wainwright around.

The Soul Sucker is staying for a while.

It's funny, I'm not sure if people know that there are things to read on this board too.  It's not write-only. :)

Award winners: http://www.gomarquette.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/041514aac.html

Highlights: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YYGSoiT-T8

Outtakes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fx3VtdhpY2k

If you told me in October that the only team award Jamil would win would be the one for sportsmanship, I'd have told you we'd have a lousy season.

I never met him, but he seems to be a fine young man. Unfortunately, that did not translate into production on the court.

List of Buzz awards ditched:

One Shining Moment Award
Wesley Matthews "Just Today" Award
Lazar Hayward "Everyday Tough" Award
Rob Frozena "We Are Marquette" Award
Joseph Fulce "WDYL? 1%" Award
Jimmy Butler "Only Now Exists" Award
Darius Johnson-Odom "Sacrifice For The String" Award
Character Revealed Award

You got to give Buzz the award for creating awards, had he stayed another 5 years, the award cermeong would have been longer than the Oscars.

It would have been funny had they gave Buzz the "Character Revealed" award in absentia

Someone with mad photoshop skills needs to put Brent's face on that Hillbillys picture in the driver's seat.
