Awards Banquet
« on: April 15, 2014, 06:03:14 PM »
Jsglow and I are here. Players all seem to be in a good mood.  Haven't seen Jamil but it's a little crowded. Coach doing a great job of working the crowd.

Have some patience, FFS.

And more importantly, ask if he's keeping Wainwright around.

Ask him if he's found a good Polish deli yet.

DG should be the projectile vomiter award for his SDSU game....I'd say about 3.5 feet in distance.

Don't want to stand in line. He's too far from the bar.
Have some patience, FFS.

Start slapping the floor and yell out:   "LET'S GO WOJO !!!!   WOJO'S WARRIORS   LET'S GO!!!!!

That will get his attention and you're worth at least 5 minutes of his time after that.

Glad to see you have your priorities in order!

Just think – if it was Mike Deane, the line to speak with the coach would lead right to the bar.

By golly I do believe that five minute highlight reel did not have a single frame of Buzz in it.

What did he do the entire season that warranted being shown in a highlight reel?

Should have had some clips of him clearing out his office.

But not even in the background or on the sidelines of game footage.  That took real editing skill.

Easily done with this season's highlights...er...lowlights.

He was pretty much in one area. Wasn't mixing it up with the players like he used to.

I think you mean "what's his favorite polish deli"

The season highlights easily could have just been incessant subbing and a defender sagging 10 feet off of Derrick.   Would have save a lot of editing time...

I will post the entire list of award winners when I get to a keyboard, but I will tell you now that the one that caused the most buzz was the academic award. It was awarded to Deonte Burton.

Haven't we all had a drink with Mike Deane?   He was at my dump of an apartment for a beer.
