This is HUGE...considering who Shaka turned down previously....and that he obviously feels MU is a place he can win big at...and he's got the credibility with the Final Four under his belt already, 4 strong seasons in a row at VCU...and a ton of cred with young recruits.

HOME RUN HIRE.  Well done Doc Rivers, Bill Cords, Father Wild.  Thank you also to Goose and Keefe for keeping the optimism up on the board the last 48!

I hate to be that guy and I want this as bad as everyone else, but didn't we have another equally good source (Jerry Meyer) confirm Shaka to MU a few hours ago?  Then what…radio silence.

None of these guys are infallible, I'll wait for Goodman or Katz.
