How in the world can they rank Bob Gibson so low at #20?  Even worse, Kyle Korver is higher at #15!

The nastiest sonuvabitch to ever throw chin music. One of the all-time greats.

I don't know if Stubby Heiser is still around, but I believe Ernie Von Schledorn is still alive.  Who do you know wants to buy a car?

Stubby is not only around, but he has a Google+ page!

https://plus.google.com/+StubbyHeiser

And they did this really weird "Adventures of Subby" video.  But it's not the cartoon version we all knew.

Curious, does anyone else get a weird pop up if you try to go to page 2 of this thread?

edit:  It seems to be a Safari specific issue:  In Safari if you go to page 2 it wants you to provide a login to something called gradecheck.net.

Did he abandon his MySpace page for a Google+ page? Savvy.

I edited one of the old posts so you shouldn't get that error anymore. I  don't think it was malicious, but more of a dead link.  Left the link in the post, but if you click it you get the login dialog.

Silver Spring and Silver Spring? How can the same street intersect itself? It must be at the nexus of the universe!

Sounds like Peachtree in Atlanta

God love you Keefe. Not one of... THE All-TIME GREAT!

Guy had the best competitive attitude of any pitcher I'd ever seen.

We need more Bob Gibsons in baseball today.

The suburban city in Atlanta?  My friend lives there.  He said it's all golf cart paths.

Peachtree Street. It's the main drag through the city of Atlanta.
Have some patience, FFS.

Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.

I don't know why this was posted as a famous Creighton alum in 2013, but it seems somewhat current now with The Mandalorian.

Not only was Ernie a former "Nazi Intelligence Officer" but Dick Strong is a friend and, as a result, Strong is under attack from the Jewish-controlled SEC!
