Then whichever Creighton PR person picked that black guy to inject should be fired...screams homeless (not that there's anything wrong with that).

It is, but the photoshop is of the large man on the right of the photo...that's the madison photo shop touch.

Speaking of alumni, Benoit Benjamin would be considered...right?

The guy from the Habush, Habush, Davis, and Rotier commercials?  Who knew he played basketball, and at Creighton no less.

One of our more (ah, hum) prominent posters goes by the handle Bee Jay, hence the interest in the shirt.  He's twin cities (IIRC) based, though.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Yup definitely legit. My buddy sold them out of the dorm rooms his freshman year before they got shut down.

Has for the guy in the background, can't remember his story off hand but he used to show up to games and sit there...hasn't been around in a long time. He would show up in a giant leather overcoat and giant leather hat...

We call our guy "Freeway."  That's what we call our major transportation corridors.  Kind of like if you called your guy "Horsepath" or "Cornrow."

[of course, I'm kidding here... I know you guys have actual, concrete roads for your carriages and buggies.]
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I do remember hearing about Freeway when I used to go to games.

I really do appreciate that picture because I had totally forgotten about that dude. They have really tightened up who gets into the student section in the past 5 years and I haven't seen him since. And the shirts are the best.

You guys would make a killing if you sold those shirts before the game in Milwaukee on Feb 19.  I bet you could get most of the MU student section to don them during the game if you gave them away.

That's Mike Anderson. He was a crew dog on the Columbia Shuttle mishap. I didn't know him but there is a memorial to him in the Physics Building at U Dub. I am guessing he was stationed at Offutt and did some grad work at Creighton.

The Command Pilot for that ill-fated mission was a buddy of mine, Willie McCool. One of the finest aviators, officers, athletes, and all-around great guys to ever serve this Republic.

You are correct, got his masters while stationed there...glad you were able to recognize him...a very sad event.

I have no idea what you are talking about, but the Habush Habush reference brings back memories of old.

Does Stubby Heiser still exist out there in Milwaukee?   Can you save big money at Menards?

I miss some of those Milwaukee based commercials.
