Why is it considered "hate" when the Coach is criticized. We have all this talent and are losing to "Inferior" teams. Let's see: Ja. Wilson, Du. Wilson, JJJ, Anderson, De. Wilson, Burton are all top 100 recruits. We start a "wealth" of experience; a 6 year senior, two 5 year seniors, a senior off the bench and two Jrs. How many top 100 recruits does Wis. have?

This team is not playing well--should be playing better. So maybe the coach deserves some criticism, and that does not make one a hater. Hater is a made up word to discredit somebody who you do not agree with.

Maybe with the record of 5-4, the "Buzz Kool Aid slurpers" should be ashamed.

I am confident that we all will be praising Buzz with our next cupcake victory.

how about the same bet I did with Goose last year  - $100 gift certificate to the winner.  I say MU NIT, you say NCAA?

Madtown, right here, right now.   If MU goes to the NIT, I stay off the board for 3 months.   If MU goes to the dance, you do.    Your call.

"If we can get Duane back in a few weeks, Todd straightened out and Steve back to how he was last year the team is transformed"

That is a lot of "if's"

I think the "if" that should be considered  is the NIT...
Good luck on getting Mayo straightened out. He had had more chances than Joe Pesci at the Blackjack table in Casino.

I'll take a piece of that action.

MU makes the NCAA tournament.

Make it any amount you want. (Under $1K).

Not Buzz's fault none of these guys show up consistently to play.

maybe if we recruited all "switchables" we would win...

Are you suggesting he should have recruited us to be 4 deep at point guard going into the year instead of 3?

So what's your solution? You are good at bitching about it. Should we fire buzz?

It simply amazes me how short sighted and ignorant some fans are. We are blessed with the best coach since al and all you can do is bitch. Get a fricken grip we lost to a good team at a place where they very seldom lose. They are not that far away, be patient.

Agreed on all your points. My only gripe is Buzz's decision to play guys that are not D1 players. I think I was the only guy last spring that was happy Jua and JT were leaving and hoping CO would move on. That is three spots that are not filled by JUCO's or freshmen.

Same can be said of three of the starters. I love Buzz as much as next guy, but give me a break.

Criticism is fine. Calling him the worst coach and hoping he gets fired is another. Not saying you were doing it but that is who I am telling to shut it.

I think losing du. Wil put them in a bad spot. I have no problem playing der Wilson right now because that's really all they have. No Dawson is not a solid option. My gripe would be with playing Jake so much. Damn he is bad. He is a situational player at best. I think jjj will emerge, we have seen signs of it.

Damn, I hate agreeing with Chico, but the reality is MU just lost to a top 10 team on the road.    Get a grip.

It feels right, you just need to do it more often and you'll be on the right side of the ledger more often than not.   ;)

Agree again. If Duane Wilson is healthy soon I would start him and JJ and play the season out. Loseing Wilson hurt big time. I really miss Vander Blue.

I'm just getting uncomfortable with it always being put on them for not having "earned it".  Are we bringing in the wrong players, or are we failing to develop them since they aren't better than our current minutes earners despite having a significant talent advantage?

They're freshmen.  We always expect more than they can reasonably deliver.

I wasn't aware some of you guys witness every practice and interact with the players on a daily basis.  Surely Buzz is doing a lot of things wrong.  I hear he has been too preoccupied watching youtube highlight reels of potential recruits trying to assemble a new back court duo for the future.

I like time away better.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

What is Buzz doing well as he is now 5 - 4?

Thought we played a better team on the road and lost.  Guys didn't give up, put a scare into them at the end.

Nothing has changed for me with this team since the beginning.  Guard play is suspect and college ball is first and foremost a guard's game.  Certainly the lineups are ripe for speculation, if we think there are guys that could be playing that aren't.  Buzz doesn't like to play freshmen, that is clear.  Mayo....what can you say.

They need to do a gutcheck or two in the coming weeks to decide what kind of season it will be.

When we have the guards we don't have the bigs; when we have the bigs we don't have the guards. Our upper  classmen are not taking charge like our past teams. Think this is our transition year if Buzz plays the frosh more, if not next year could be worse.

Why do people keep thinking that if we play freshmen more now, that it would automatically mean they would be better next year?

you don't think playing this year would build their skills and confidence for next year?
