Back at the height of the Cold War in the mid 80's we had an aircrew ready room at Misawa Air Base that was well stocked with porn - movies (VHS & Beta!) and mags. We had 100 F-16's based there and were the tip of the spear, a 10 minute ride from Vladivostok. We would have been the first to joust with Ivan if the balloon went up. We were on shifts standing the alert and had to be able to be airborne within 5 minutes.
