Diamond in the rough for Seton Hall
« on: February 01, 2013, 03:19:07 PM »
I was looking at new recruits for Big East teams and came across the name "Aquille Carr", a 2013 Seton Hall recruit. OMG, from everything I've read and seen, he is nothing short of "Mighty Mouse" on the court and he's only 5'7". Marquette better get ready for "The Crimestopper"!!!!!!

He wont be there next year. Likely heading to a junior college.

Wasn't he arrested? I'm pretty sure he's also fathering a child with a 25 or 26 year old woman.

He also didn't sign with Seton Hall in November.  He might yet qualify academically, but it is no guaranty that he goes to Seton Hall.

A talented train-wreck.

He wont qualify. His "advisors" are already looking into jucos.

I saw him play this summer at The Reebok Basketball Challenge, http://www.reebokbreakout.com/.

Carr played really out of control; he was constantly driving the lane and getting his shots swatted. He looked like he was failing fantastically at trying to play like Allen Iverson.

The woman was employed by his HS.  Hard to imagine how she stayed out of jail.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
