The word from the scrimmage so far is...

I have no idea.  I was hoping somebody with some real info would post something on this board.  The other board mentions some tweets from the UVA players that really don't say much.

And you likely wont have any idea. The scrimmage is closed to the media, public, and anyone outside of the respective programs. You cant keep score and you cant report anything. The only thing you're going to get are basic quotes from the coaches.

That is...unless you know someone on the team or someone that works for the team.

Theses are scripted workouts and drills.  Not real scrimmages or games.  Coaches are working on whatever.  Not really much to report.

I'd pay to be there if I could...I'd bet you'd get a much better feel for the effectiveness of our new players and improvements of our returners than you would from the Pro-Am, Scrimmages and even some of our non-conference games.

Based on the player tweets it sounds like things went well.

No specifics though as you would expect.

From Deputy AD Mike Broeker:

Good day of work for #mubb today.  Scrimmage setting so valuable.  Might look to play multiple next year.
