Maybe it's that we won, but I think these are some of the best pictures taken all year.

Unfortunately, he couldn't see Lazar behind him, and McNeal took a jumper and missed.

Spartan .. here's a full size version of that pic for your desktop.

Great photos! Two questions...

1. Did you get a new camera? They seem clearer than usual.
2. If not a new camera, could the white jerseys have made a difference in clarity? It could be that the number of gold shirts in stands makes it more difficult for your digital camera to take clear photos of the gold jerseys on the court.

My dislike of "gold" is well documented, but I defy anybody to tell me that those white jerseys are not fantastic.

I did not get a new camera.  I was going to, but the models that I think will do the most good for this unique type of work aren't out yet .. next season, I'll have something better, though.

I continue to futz with the settings on my camera.  There's a balance between blurr (fast moving guys), darkness, and noise.   I tried some new settings last night, and it looks like I found the winning combo.

.. I like the gold unis, but I wish they'd only use them on "special" occasions, like in seasons' past.
