Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.

Should keep him out of football this fall.

I prefer to focus on this tweet:

Here's a video of Markus training with his brother. Pretty much all shooting drills. At the 7:14 mark, he makes 13 straight corner threes.

Get well soon, Joey.

https://twitter.com/spjscottwill/status/898725679558275076   :(

That blows.

I hope he takes his time and doesn't try to come back too soon. Don't want him to favor it and throw something else outta whack. Just get nice and healthy and come back stronger than ever for the second half of SPASH season and then for his entire MU career!

Heal up before the Mickey D's AA game. (Also, get into it)

I was pretty excited to see a Blue-and-Gold bound player in action a few years back, but that didn't quite work out due to injury to same body part.

I'm pretty sure Hank's injury was to his hand.

Hand ... foot ... an appendage is an appendage. Stop being so picky.

Gotta run to a job interview now. I'm trying to get a hand in the door at this place, so I hope I don't stick my hand in my mouth!

Doubt it.  Per a google search, he is the Sports Copy Editor, whatever that is.

Oh. A sports copy editor reads the stuff that the reporters sends in, edits it for typos, accuracy, space, etc. He usually writes the headline for each article under his watch, helps choose where it goes in the newspaper. In this day and age, he or she might be assigned to work only with internet copy, only with newspaper copy or both.

During most of my career, newspapers had many copy editors, and they were vital to produce a good product. As the business got weaker and papers got smaller, copy editors began to get cut. Now, most newspapers get by with a very small group of them. For all I know, the JS only has one or two dedicated to sports.

There. Aren't you glad you asked?

Not only that, more and more newspaper chains like Gannett are consolidating production functions. With multiple Wisconsin newspapers, you can bet the guys reading the Milwaukee copy are also looking at articles produced in several other cities for several other newspapers.

Just look at the Packers coverage since Gannett acquired the J-S. They consolidated the GB P-G and the JS into one package.
