Coach K's Seat

Losing to BC - must be losing it in his old age. And I hear this Wojo kid is hot off a bit in-state rivalry game.

I think he will be OK.

Duke would likely get whoever they wanted. Would like to see a domer like Brey go to Duke. What other Duke Puke has had better success than Brey?

I think it's hard to classify Brey as a Coach K guy.  I mean, yeah he was one of his assistants, but that was over 20 years ago.  And Brey has done a great job developing his own program at Notre Dame.  Unless he is unsatisfied at ND, why would he leave?

But they might want to make him wear a tie.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Duke would sooner go for Bill Self than Brey.

Oops, posted this in different thread but will put it here in the proper thread:

They could go to the pros:
Quin Snyder - Duke guy
Billy Donovan - Champ Pedigree

And as I mentioned in my the other thread there’s always squeaky clean Rick Pitino.

BC beat Duke? Didn't really happen.

Only one team this season lost a game it should have won - Marquette. We lost to Georgia, the very worst team in the history of college basketball.

Blame Wojo, the worst coach in the history of college basketball.

Case closed.

Bobby Hurley has done a helluva job in short order at ASU. He might be the real deal.

Bobby Hurley has decided be a helluva job in short order at ASU. He might be the real deal.

Well, he was 30-35 his first 2 seasons, each of which ended with a losing record.

ASU is 8-0 this season with nice wins over Xavier, St. John's, K-State and San Diego State. They haven't played a road game yet, though.

Looks like he might be a decent coach. Not sure how anybody could determine yet that he's done anything better than our coach has, though. (And I'm not saying you've claimed that, Goose.)

As VegasWarrior mentioned.  He got a road win against #2 Kansas today.  The ASU team is a legit top 5/10 team right now.

Obviously, a huge win for Hurley and ASU at Kansas. I was too busy watching my Panthers beating the Vikings to notice.

Good to see others doing well in college hoops besides "the usual suspects."
